Based at our regional office in Belmont, Durham, with set days out in the community and to attend college

Pay, £21,216 (under 20) - £24,853 (21 and over)

Hours, 37.5 hours per week

51month Fixed-term apprenticeship, with the potential for a permanent role at the end

About the role

You'll be a valued member of the team, learning by doing and supporting colleagues with meaningful, hands-on work. You’ll be trusted with real responsibilities while being fully supported as you develop your skills and confidence.

You’ll learn how to:

• Inspection, testing, installation and fault-finding skills

• Safe working practices and risk awareness

• Work safely on site, following health and safety guidelines

• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues, showing care, respect and good timekeeping

• Progress through applying learning, working safely and gaining independence toward qualified status.

What qualification will you gain?

• Level 3 Electrical Installation apprenticeship, delivered by New College Durham

You’ll combine on-the-job learning with structured study, building skills and confidence that will support your long-term career.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for people who:

• Achieved GCSEs in English and Mathematics grades 9-4 (A*-C)

• Are IT confident, or at the very least have a basic understanding

• Are keen to learn and develop new skills for example, communication both, verbal and written

• Share our values, want to make a difference, and thrive in a team environment

• Are organised, curious and willing to ask questions
