About the Role

We are currently seeking applications from Apprentice Electricians interested in joining our established teams in Charlottetown, PEI!

As an Apprentice you will work alongside a Journeyman Electrician, taking direction and accomplishing the tasks assigned to you each day. You will learn how to:

• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code and project specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
• Install PVC, EMT and galvanized steel conduit systems.
• Install, replace, and repair distribution equipment and electrical controls such as switchboards, panelboards, and disconnect switches.
• Work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.

Education & Requirements

• High school diploma or grade 12 equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle.
• Willingness to travel within the Maritimes, compensation offered for travel related costs
• Comfortable working at heights and on ladders.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Pay Scale

$20 - $28 per hour depending on block level
