Future Positions: Apprentice Electricians

ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Apprentice Electrician, you’ll assist lead electricians in completing jobs while gaining the knowledge and hands-on experience needed for a successful career. Through our Apprenticeship Program, you will work toward earning your Journeyman’s License while contributing to high-quality installations, repairs, and maintenance.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical equipment and systems.
• Assess the condition of electrical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and determine necessary repairs.
• Work with and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and job specifications.
• Identify and prepare appropriate materials and quantities for repair or installation projects.
• Use the Straight Forward Pricing Guide to present repair or installation options to customers and perform safety inspections.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Relevant experience is a plus but may vary by location.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills to clearly explain issues and recommend solutions to customers.

Compensation: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
