WhatYou’llBe Up To:

  • You will join the design department that specializes in creating fire and security systems for industrial, commercial, and residential markets.

  • An experienced design engineer will guide you, teaching you the fundamentals of design engineering.

  • You will familiarise yourself with tools like AutoCAD, Revit 3D modelling, and other design-specific software to gain direct experience in system design.

  • This apprenticeship is a highly technical role whereyou'llcreate detailed designs and calculations for various fire and security systems,complying withindustry and legislative standards.

  • You will visit client locations, collaborate with colleagues to conduct surveys, and develop design plans based on the gathered information.

  • This role will require travel to clients on a national basis occasionally. The company will cover the costs of travel, accommodation, and meals.

📚 Level 3 Engineering Design Technician
🧠 Mix of college learning and hands-on mentoring College is day release, done remotely

What You’ll Need:
✅ GCSEs in English & Maths-Grade 5 (C) or above
✅ Full UK driving licence
Ability to pass SC Clearance
✅ Happy to travel, work away and stay over in hotels when needed
✅ Good vibes: team spirit, hardworking, communication skills, and a love for technology and Engineering
