Westgold Resources isseekinga proactive and organised Coordinator Apprentice to join our Environment, Health & Safety Training team based in Maddington in a permanent full-time position.

Reporting to the Supervisor Apprentice, you will coordinate and administerWestgold'sapprenticeship program, ensuring apprentices receive the support, training and resources needed to achieve successful competency outcomes whilemaintainingcompliance with training and regulatory requirements.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the key point of contact for apprentices

  • Coordinating apprentice assessment centres,inductionsand contract sign-ups

  • Managing apprentice compliance requirements and training records

  • Coordinating travel and accommodation for apprentices attending training

  • Liaising with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs)regardingenrolments,attendanceand training schedules

  • Supporting site leaders in apprentice management and development

  • Conducting site visits to support apprentice progression and wellbeing

  • Managing apprentice incentives and contract administration

  • Monitoring,analysingand reporting on apprenticeship program performance

  • Building strong relationships with apprentices,leadersand external training providers

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential)

  • Experience within the mining,constructionor training environment

  • Experience coordinating training programs,resourcesor workforce development activities

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Sound administrative andfinancial managementcapability

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Mining experience and trade qualifications will be highly regarded.
