YMH is a leading builder of modular dwellings and commercial
buildings servicing the Lifestyle, Tourism and Commercial sectors. With
facilities in both Mulwala NSW and Bendigo VIC. All our modular buildings are
designed and built to the very highest standards with a true focus on quality.

We are seeking a 1st Year Apprentice Carpenter to join our
team. This position will be based in Huntly VIC. You will need to be available to live
away from home as required, as part of our onsite team, in various locations
throughout VIC and further interstate on occasion. You will need to be a
confident, detail-oriented individual, ready to thrive in a busy setting and
have a solution driven mindset.

Qualifications:

• Construction
  Induction Card (White card - or able to attain)
• Current
  Driver's Licence (Or able to attain once 18 if underage)

Skills required:

• Physically
  fit and able to perform the physical requirements of the role.
• The
  ability to travel & stay overnight, as required.
• Excellent
  verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent
  numeracy skills.
• Ability
  to follow instructions accurately.
• A
  positive and solution driven mindset.
• Strong
  work ethic and the willingness to help others and work within a team.
• Personal
  pride in the quality of your work and strong attention to detail.
• Be
  friendly, supportive and have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Follow
  safety protocols while working on construction sites.
• Maintain
  cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Take
  and follow directions from qualified carpenters and all management.

Remuneration:

• In
  line with the Joinery & Building Trades Award.
