Apprentice Calibration Engineer

As an Apprentice Calibration Engineer you will be part of the team responsible for the calibration of electrical and electronic test equipment, working in a small team of engineers.
Key responsibilities include working full-time as an engineer with on-the-job training alongside the apprenticeship learning. The college course consists of 2 years day-release along with Apprentice portfolio work taking up to 4 years to complete. Further academic qualifications are available up to NVQ Levels 2 & 3 over the 3-4 years.
You will need:
- An open approach to learning and a keen interest in physics & maths (minimum Grade 5 GCSE maths and Science plus minimum of Grade 4 in English)
- A willingness to develop new skills in a job that comes with training and career prospects
- Excellent IT skills (especially MS Excel manipulation)
- A willingness to learn and be a good verbal communicator.
