We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Asset Manager to join the Clean Water Quality Asset Management team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

Where you fit in:
The Asset Strategy Planning and Investment Team are responsible for providing the company with a plan for the management and care of Yorkshire Water’s clean water Production & distribution asset base. These can be both reactive and proactive, theory or practical based and help to drive the organisation to make better planning decisions to help the environment, local communities, and the overall performance of the organisation.
The roles will be specifically within the Clean Water Asset Planning Teams and will involve developing, delivering, and implementing new ‘assets’ in the form of Water Mains, Water Pumping Stations, and Service Reservoirs. This will lead to the development of skills in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and hydraulic analysis. The team are at the forefront of long-term decision making and are key in improving not only Yorkshire Water but Yorkshire as a whole.

What you will study:
Our Asset Manager Apprentice’s study the Level 4 Asset Manager Apprenticeship which is equivalent to a HNC. This includes learning about the different types of assets, asset management standards and systems, asset lifecycle activities and asset management project tools and techniques.
