As the RAN prepares to welcome 13 brand‑new MH‑60 Romeo helicopters into its existing fleet, Sikorsky Australia – a Lockheed Martin company and Australia’s leading defence rotary‑wing support partner – is looking for fresh talent to join our Team and contribute getting these aircraft flying.
From the heart of the beautiful South Coast, we deliver end‑to‑end solutions that keep the Navy’s maritime helicopters operational: detailed maintenance and servicing, full‑scale repair & overhaul, and an integrated supply‑chain network that supports every mission.
Our Apprentice Avionics technicians will be responsible for assisting with the hands-on repair, maintenance and servicing of Romeo Seahawk aircraft and equipment. The avionics trade is specifically responsible for the electrical, wiring, communications and navigation systems on the Aircraft. While undergoing training in the various aspects of your trade, you may be required to move between Sikorsky and our partner’s facilities as well at travel to attend theory-based training, ensuring you gain the required expertise to successfully complete the unit standards required for your apprenticeship.
