Dans le cadre du développement et de l'optimisation des activités Supply Chain, l'apprenti(e) participera à la gestion, la fiabilisation et l'optimisation des flux physiques et informatiques liés aux matériels, équipements, outillages et consommables.
Il/elle contribuera à améliorer la performance globale du magasin en intervenant notamment sur la gestion des stocks, les approvisionnements, la traçabilité des équipements, les flux logistiques, la digitalisation des processus et l'amélioration continue.
L'objectif du poste est de permettre à l'apprenti(e) de développer une véritable expertise opérationnelle et analytique en Supply Chain, en étant directement impliqué(e) dans des projets d'amélioration continue.
Étudiant(e) préparant un Master en Supply Chain, Logistique, E-Logistique, Management de la Supply Chain ou formation équivalente.
Une première expérience en environnement industriel, logistique ou gestion des stocks constitue un avantage.
As part of the development and optimization of supply chain activities, the apprentice will participate in managing, ensuring the accuracy of, and optimizing the physical and digital flows associated with materials, equipment, tools, and consumables.
They will contribute to improving overall warehouse performance by working on areas such as inventory management, procurement, equipment traceability, logistics flows, process digitalization, and continuous improvement.
The goal of the position is to enable the apprentice to develop genuine operational and analytical expertise in supply chain management through direct involvement in continuous improvement projects.
A. Inventory management and optimization
Participate in the daily management of inventory for measuring instruments, tools, PPE, and consumables.
Contribute to ensuring the accuracy of physical and digital inventory records.
Participate in conducting and analyzing physical stocktakes.
Identify and analyze inventory discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
Analyze stock turnover and identify slow-moving or fast-moving items.
Identify dormant, obsolete, or excess stock.
Participate in defining stock levels and reorder points.
Contribute to optimizing storage space and capacity.
Improve the organization and identification of storage areas.
B. Logistics flow management
Participate in organizing and optimizing inbound and outbound flows.
Track the movement of materials between the warehouse, worksites, and various departments.
Ensure reliable traceability of equipment and materials.
Participate in preparing and tracking shipments.
Monitor material returns and their reintegration into stock.
Identify flow inefficiencies and propose improvement solutions.
Contribute to reducing processing times and errors.
C. Procurement and Requirements Management
Participate in analyzing material requirements.
Analyze consumption history to anticipate future needs.
Assist in tracking orders and supplier lead times.
Identify stock-out risks and propose preventive actions.
Contribute to optimizing order quantities.
Participate in improving the process for requesting and making materials available.
Collaborate with various departments to consolidate requirements and prioritize requests.
D. Data Management and Reliability
Participate in creating and updating item master records.
Verify the quality of data within management systems.
Ensure the reliability of information regarding part numbers, descriptions, specifications, prices, serial numbers, and other data required for traceability.
Identify duplicates, inconsistencies, and obsolete data.
Participate in standardizing item data.
Contribute to improving the quality of data used for supply chain management.
E. Digitalization and E-Logistics
Participate in the digitalization of logistics and warehouse processes.
Identify tasks or processes that can be simplified or automated.
Assist in implementing tracking and management tools.
Develop and improve supply chain dashboards.
Leverage available data to enhance decision-making.
Contribute to the evolution of digital tools used for inventory and flow management.
Propose solutions to reduce low-value-added administrative tasks.
F. Continuous Improvement
Participate in analyzing existing processes.
Map workflows and identify sources of time loss or performance issues.
Propose and implement improvement actions.
Participate in Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Measure the results of implemented actions.
Formalize new processes and standard operating procedures.
Contribute to standardizing practices within the warehouse. IDEAL CANDIDATE
Student pursuing a Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, E-Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent program.
Prior experience in an industrial, logistics, or inventory management environment is an asset.
Proficiency in Excel and office software.
Aptitude for data analysis.
Interest in ERP, WMS, and logistics management tools.
Knowledge of key supply chain concepts.
Interest in process digitalization and automation.
Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools is a plus.
Professional-level English is appreciated.
