What You Will Do
- Design and implement AI and machine learning solutions that enhance core product features across the medication access lifecycle.
- Build and maintain robust pipelines for data ingestion, model training, evaluation, and production deployment.
- Apply large language models (LLMs) and modern AI techniques to automate complex, document-heavy healthcare workflows.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate clinical and operational needs into scalable AI systems.
- Evaluate model performance and iterate rapidly based on real-world feedback from production systems.
- Contribute to the architecture and technical direction of AI infrastructure across the platform.
- Ensure AI systems meet accuracy, reliability, and compliance requirements appropriate for a healthcare environment.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 1–15 years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, or a related applied AI discipline.
- Proven ability to build and deploy AI or ML models in production environments, ideally with tangible user impact.
- Strong programming fundamentals with daily proficiency in Python and experience in full-stack development (e.g., React, TypeScript).
- Familiarity with modern AI/ML frameworks and tooling such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face.
- Experience working with unstructured data, natural language, or document understanding tasks.
Preferred
- Experience applying AI in healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with prior authorization processes, pharmacy benefit management, or health insurance workflows.
- Hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, or agentic AI systems.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $150K to $225K, offering a competitive compensation package that reflects the importance of this position in driving impactful solutions in healthcare.
