Job Description

We’re looking for an open-minded, curious, and meticulous Applied AI Engineerwho loves turning ideas into working solutions. You’ll join a team that experiments fast, learns fast, and builds generative AI systems grounded in real data—with a strong focus on graph technology, vector search, and modern LLM engineering.

If you enjoy exploring what’s possible, designing smart experiments, and shipping useful capabilities with a team, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll do

  • Design and implement NLP and Generative AI solutions that solve real user problems

  • Build graph-based GenAI architectures (e.g., RAG + knowledge graphs / graph reasoning patterns)

  • Work hands-on with vector databases, embeddings, retrieval, and evaluation

  • Prototype quickly, then harden into reliable components and pipelines

  • Plan and run experiments: scoping, design, execution, and clear reporting of results

  • Collaborate closely with engineers and domain experts to turn ambiguous needs into solid solutions

Required skills & experience

  • Proven delivery of NLP solutions and/or applied language technologies in production or customer-facing work

  • Experience building generative AI solutions involving graph databases / graph technology

  • Strong understanding of vector databases, graph databases, and retrieval patterns

  • Excellent skills in LangChain, LangGraph, and adjacent ecosystem tools

  • Intermediate Python skills (and relevant ML/NLP libraries)

  • Solid foundation in machine learning

  • Experience with experimental scoping, design, planning, execution, and reporting

Desirable (nice-to-have)

  • Domain adaptation / fine-tuning of open-weight language models

  • LLMOps experience (deployment, monitoring, evaluation, prompt/version management)

  • Test-driven / behavior-driven development practices

  • Working with Docker (Kubernetes administration and CI/CD pipeline setup are a plus)

  • Experience with continuous delivery

What we value

  • Curiosity + pragmatism: you explore options, but you know how to build it

  • Craftsmanship: you care about correctness, reliability, and clarity

  • Team mindset: you share, communicate, and build with others

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: Attractive compensation based on experience.

  • Insurance: Comprehensive coverage for health, life, and accident insurance.

  • Pension: Generous pension scheme ensuring long-term financial security.

  • Parking: Convenient access to automated “Park & Go” parking and car pool services.

  • Bicycle Facilities: Secure bicycle hotel with showers, maintenance services, and battery charging stations.

  • EV Charging: Modern charging stations for electric vehicles, accessible via the Apcoa Flow app.

  • Wellness Allowance: Annual health and wellness benefit of SEK 5,000 (Friskvårdsbidrag).

  • On-site Gym: Free access to the CityGate Gym, including personal trainer sessions.

  • Showers: Available in both the bike hotel and gym facilities.

  • Company Bicycle Program: Access to “Förmånscykel” through BusinessBike.

  • Breakfast: Complimentary breakfast served daily.

  • Fruit: Weekly fruit baskets featuring fresh, seasonal selections.
