As our Applications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role supporting customers through the effective application of our products and technologies. Combining scientific expertise with customer focus, you will help customers achieve successful outcomes while driving product adoption, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
Location: This role is based in our Dubbo facility.

What You Will Do
- Build strong relationships with customers to understand research goals, technical needs, and application challenges
- Serve as a technical point of contact for customer enquiries and troubleshooting
- Support customers in applying products within laboratory or clinical workflows
- Guide experimental design, protocol optimisation, and product usage
- Translate technical product capabilities into practical applications and customer solutions
- Partner with Commercial and Marketing teams to support technical discussions, proposals, and product demonstrations
- Deliver onboarding, product training, and technical education to customers
- Develop and maintain training materials and application notes
- Investigate and resolve technical issues related to product performance or application
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support customer solutions and product improvements
- Provide customer feedback to internal teams to inform innovation and continuous improvement
- Support validation, compliance, and technical documentation activities
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in a commercially oriented technical sales and support role
- Experience supporting biotech or laboratory-based products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret complex scientific or experimental data
- Strong relationship management skills across scientific, technical, and commercial audiences
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and documentation practices
Desirable
- Experience working with biomaterials or medical-grade products
- Exposure to regulated environments or quality systems
- Experience working cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, or Manufacturing teams
- Ability to contribute to product development through customer insights
- Interest in emerging technologies and applications in biotech
