Key Responsibilities

Enterprise-Wide Planning & On-Site Governance

• Drive the Master Implementation Plan: Author, maintain, and enforce the master project schedule, tracking hundreds of parallel dependencies across clinical, financial, and ancillary modules.
• On-Site Command & Collaboration: Establish a physical project management footprint to facilitate daily stand-ups, coordinate rapid issue resolution, and maintain momentum across hospital sites.
• Capital Budget Management: Monitor and safeguard the enterprise deployment budget, managing variance tracking, scope creep, and vendor milestone payments.

Clinical & Operational Transformation

• Current to Future-State Mapping: Lead intensive, on-site workflow validation sessions with physicians, nursing executives, and revenue cycle leaders to build Epic-validated future-state workflows.
• On-the-Ground Change Management: Serve as the visible face of the transition, managing resistance, building consensus, and driving organization-wide adoption of new clinical and operational standards.
• Enterprise Training & Readiness: Oversee the logistical rollout of mandatory, role-based super-user and end-user training programs across all facilities.

Technical Oversight & Core Readiness

• Epic Corporate Liaison: Act as the primary on-site point of contact for Epic implementation executives and technical coordinators.
• Integration & Data Conversion: Oversee the high-risk migration of legacy patient data and ensure seamless interoperability with third-party medical devices, lab systems, and HIEs.
• Testing & Enterprise Go-Live: Coordinate strict integrated testing phases, dress rehearsals, and cutover logistics. Lead the physical Command Center during the high-stakes "Hypercare" stabilization window.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience & Education

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a clinical field. Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, MSN) preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of IT project management experience, including at least one completed ground-up, initial enterprise EMR/Epic deployment from inception through post-go-live stabilization.
• Environment: Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale hospital or health system software replacements.

Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory)

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.
• Prior or active Epic Certifications / Proficiencies in core modules (e.g., EpicCare Inpatient/Ambulatory, Chronicles, Cogito) are a strong plus.

• Physical Presence & Command: Exceptional interpersonal and face-to-face communication skills, with the ability to command a room of diverse stakeholders (from surgeons to software engineers).
• Crisis Management: Extreme composure and rapid problem-solving abilities under the intense pressure of a live hospital system rollout.
• Local Alignment: Deep knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance (HIPAA, Joint Commission standards) applied directly to technical build validation.

Salary - $110,000 -115,000

Shift : M-F 9am-5pm
