Job Description

Are you someone who thrives at the intersection of business process and technology? Do you enjoy translating what people actually do into what systems need to support? If you are energized by bringing order to complexity, this opportunity is for you.

Your Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Applications & Process Lead to own the business and process layer across our technology portfolio. This is a pivotal role in a period of significant transformation; we are in a period of ERP selection, and the successful candidate will be central to how we evaluate, implement, and govern our systems going forward.

Lead the strategic rationalization of our custom application portfolio throughout our ERP transformation, overseeing the migration, integration, or sunsetting of legacy systems. You will lead quality and requirements standards across the broader portfolio, managing everything from UAT planning to automation triage and release readiness.

This is a f ull-time, hybrid position requiring a minimum of three days per week in our London office.

Responsibilities

As the Applications & Process Lead, you will utilize rigorous business analysis to drive the strategic alignment of our application ecosystem, ensuring our technology portfolio and ERP initiatives effectively support and evolve with our business processes.

  • Build and maintain the inventory of custom applications and the business processes they serve; run fit-gap analysis against ERP capabilities; recommend absorb, modify, or retire per application in collaboration with the Solutions Architect.
  • Document current-state business processes ahead of vendor engagement; validate that captured requirements reflect actual business needs; own requirements traceability so scope creep is visible.
  • Represent operational business processes in ERP program governance, collaborating with the lead managing financial and accounting modules.
  • Support data migration validation: data mapping review, reconciliation sign-off with business owners.
  • Plan and coordinate UAT: test scenarios with business users, defect tracking, readiness assessment.
  • Own quality strategy and acceptance verification across the portfolio: test strategy per initiative, acceptance test design, release readiness sign-off.
  • Requirements elicitation, user stories with acceptance criteria, process mapping, and pushing back when the request does not match the problem.
  • Triage and qualify departmental automation requests before they reach developers.
  • Act as the business liaison for prototyping requests and automation initiatives. Represent practitioner teams on automation and prototyping requests translating needs into defined requirements.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Requirements elicitation and documentation: user stories, acceptance criteria, process mapping using BPMN or equivalent.
  • UAT planning and coordination experience.
  • Data literacy: SQL basics and data mapping comfortable working with raw data from source systems.
  • Stakeholder management; comfortable in program governance settings.
  • Low-code platform familiarity and change management experience are considered assets.

Experience

  • 5+ years in business or systems analysis, including at least one full ERP or major system implementation on the client side.

Compensation

$80,000 – $110,000
