The Application Expert will serve as a technical authority for internal teams and clients, offering in-depth knowledge of products and their applications. This role involves understanding clients' technological needs, leading the design of non-destructive testing systems and methods, directing project management, and coordinating the various tasks required to complete complex projects.

As an Applications Expert – Systems, you must be able to
• Lead the design of complex non-destructive testing systems and methods.
• Design and develop robotic applications and non-destructive test plans; analyze measurement and test data and write reports (internal and external).
• Manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
• Coordinate the various tasks required to complete complex projects spanning multiple areas of expertise (physics (ultrasonics/electromagnetics)/electronics/mechanics/software).
• Manage the activities of a multidisciplinary project team.
• Monitor technical progress, quality, and costs.
• Provide specialist judgment and analysis regarding the design, development, and implementation of new application solutions; stay informed of the latest technological innovations.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with the internal sales team and the applications manager.
• Support the R&D team during the planning and execution of internal projects.
• Support the development team during software releases, particularly with respect to functionality testing.
• Provide technical support to the internal sales team for complex customer orders.
• Support the sales team during client meetings regarding complex products and applications.
• Support internal and external clients regarding generic products and applications for complex technical issues.
• Support production during technical issues.
• Deliver product training to clients.

What makes you an asset to our team
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience
• Demonstrated experience in client relations (training, support, negotiation).
• Advanced level of English (both spoken and written).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge and experience in project management.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage priorities effectively.
• Ability to resolve complex systemic problems.
• Strong knowledge of robotics, eddy currents, and ultrasonics.
• Good understanding of the NDT market.
• Available for occasional international travel.
