The Q SYS Application Engineer – Training, plays a key role in shaping the learning experience for our customers. This position offers the freedom to lead advanced Q-SYS live classroom trainings with confidence and creativity. As the training instructor in our state-of-the-art Training Room at the Bangalore Experience Center, you’ll bring technical concepts to life in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment.

Q SYS is known for delivering high level instruction with a lighthearted approach; empowering learners to think critically and solve problems, not just follow steps. In this role, you’ll also take ownership of essential class preparations, including scheduling, communication, and day of coordination, ensuring every training session runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trainer for in-classroom training for our integrator, consultant and end-user community in a performative nature with confidence, charisma and a deep knowledge of the curriculum like Q-SYS Architect, Level 2 and Control and UCI.
• Deliver content that involves advanced audio DSP concepts, user interface creation, and control programing topics
• In addition to classroom instruction, this role serves as a brand ambassador to perform in-person customer demonstrations in the experience center of new technologies for both in-person and remote participants
• Perform basic maintenance and notify support team of any issues in training room and the experience center’s integrated technology.
• Participates in training discovery meetings and brainstorming sessions

Qualifications

• Strong communication, presentation, and performance skills with the ability to simplify and deliver complex AV and control concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, audio engineering and/or electronics.
• Familiarity with low‑code and full‑code programming in Lua; experience with C‑family languages (C#, C++, Java) or Python is a plus.
• Experience in delivering interactive technology in person is preferred.
• Solid understanding of the Q‑SYS Platform and Q‑SYS Designer Software is a strong advantage.
• Networking knowledge and experience is required.
• Advance programming certifications from other manufacturers are plus (Crestron, AMX, Extron).
• Other industry certifications are plus (CTS, CCNA / Networking etc.)
