We arehiring foran Applications Engineer to provide technicalexpertiseand help customers find the best product and service solutions for their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working veryclosely with the sales team to support the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and customer training ofTurntideproducts or solutions remotely or at global customer locations.
  • Work very closely withcustomers and engineering team to characterizeor pair customer motorwithTurntidecontrollerson dyno in India or UK.
  • Providing technical supporttocustomersqueries, RFQs, or design reviews related toTurntide’sproducts andensurethey are handled within the allotted time.
  • Verifyingandvalidatingproduct and systems configured orcustomisedfor customer usage to ensure the customer needs are met.
  • Collaborating with engineering team or domain expert to resolve difficult in-field issues in a prompt manner.
  • Partnerwith our Sales, Product & Engineering organizations to drive new business opportunities, improvingthe customerexperience whilst bringing new customer insights back in-house for future product developments.
  • Supporting design for installation and maintenance activities as part of the development projects.

The Requirements

  • Bachelorsdegree or above in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field. Relevant engineering or technical experience could also be considered.
  • Technical background or experience in one or more of the following or relevant:
  • Electric motors
  • Battery storage solutions / Battery Management Systems
  • Power Electronics (Inverters, DCDCs, OBCs)
  • Experience inworking with customers intechnicalsetting, including team problems solving and solution selling.
  • Ability to work from technical manuals, work instructions, work orders and follow-up of historic troubleshooting findings and notes.
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and principles
  • Commercial acumen and results driven.
  • Ability to quickly build a rapport with customers.
  • Must be able to travel domestically or internationally (sometimes with limited notice)

Bonus Points

It would also be great (but not essential) if in addition to the above you also have:

  • Knowledge of Functional Safetye.g.ISO26262, IEC61508, D0178B
  • Knowledge of EMC, Environmental, Product Safety and Electrical test standardse.g.ISO16750, ECE R10, R100
  • Experience in on highway, off highway or non-road industries
  • Experiencepresenting atindustry events, customer events, STEM, etc.
