This role combines systems engineering, customer engagement, hardware integration, and project execution to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performing test systems that help customers achieve their business objectives. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and external partners to define, develop, and deploy semiconductor test solutions that address specific business and technical requirements.
  • Gather and document customer requirements and contribute to the development of clear project scopes and statements of work.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead project activities, ensuring deliverables meet quality, performance, and customer expectations.
  • Install, configure, validate, and support test systems at customer locations, including performing final acceptance testing.
  • Evaluate, integrate, and validate hardware solutions, including analog and digital circuit, signal interconnects, and data communication protocols based on device-under-test requirements.
  • Support the design and integration of modular test hardware into complete turnkey test systems.
  • Assess system performance, reliability, measurement accuracy, and overall cost effectiveness to optimize customer outcomes.
  • Familiar in utilizing laboratory measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes and other laboratory measurement instruments.
  • Partner with customers and manufacturing stakeholders to improve test system stability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to customers and project stakeholders on system operation and best practices.
  • Respond effectively to technical challenges during project implementation and support activities.
  • Travel domestically and internationally, as needed, to support customer engagements, project deployments, and business objectives.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Degree, diploma, technical qualification, or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience developing, integrating, supporting, or designing semiconductor test systems, automated test equipment, or related engineering solutions.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor testing and validation (e.g. RFIC or mixed-signal IC testing and validation, RF FEM, On-wafer testing, ADC/DAC, LED, MEMS sensors, PMIC etc.).
  • Experience with software or system development, including test case development, and test platform software (SmarTest, IG-XL, etc).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, Visual Basic, Python, etc.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard electronic test instruments such as source measurement units, digital pattern instrument, digitizer, etc.
  • Understanding of:
  • Measurement accuracy and sources of error
  • Instrumentation selection and test architecture design
  • Hardware and software integration
  • Grounding and shielding concepts
  • PCB design tools and schematic development
  • Statistical analysis techniques, including process capability and measurement system analysis
  • Ability to diagnose technical issues, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 20% of the time to support customer and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing, production test, validation engineering, or automated test environments.
  • Familiarity with major semiconductor ATE platforms such as V93000, UltraFLEX, J750, Pax, or similar solutions.
  • Knowledge of NI PXI platforms, NI LabVIEW, TestStand, or related test software environments.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor ecosystem equipment such as handlers, probers, and wafer-level test systems.
  • Experience leading technical projects from concept through deployment.
  • Understanding of system-level architecture, hardware integration, and reliability optimization.
  • Demonstrated success working in customer-facing technical roles within a global environment.
