Implements, monitors and maintains the areas of systems analysis and application programming, quality assurance, web engineering, and database designs. May have any of the following responsibilities: researches and evaluates alternative solutions, the most efficient and cost effective solution for the systems/program design; codes, debugs, and documents programs; recommends the equipment/platform needed for an effective solution, and prepares machine instructions; formulates logical statements of business requirements and with some guidance, devises, tests and implements solutions; creates data verification methods and standard systems procedures and participates in systems testing; designs and implements detailed systems test plan to ensure an accurate and effective product; designs, tests, implements and maintains databases across multiple platforms, technologies and computing environments; analyzes and designs new or modified quality assurance procedures and standards and assists in the development and implementation of quality assurance metrics for assessing the quality of delivered application software; operates and maintains websites, tests new methods, software, hardware, data flow and interfaces with existing systems; analyzes and designs web application/e-commerce system specifications; upgrades and maintains the systems that integrate web systems with existing systems. Works with guidance on projects within defined criteria. Provides solutions to a diverse range of moderately complex problems. Interprets client needs and works to meet those needs.

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
