In order to address the most critical needs of our clients, RSM US LLP established the Integrated Cloud Consulting (IC) practice within our National Consulting team dedicated to serving the enterprise cloud and infrastructure platform needs of our clients by utilizing resources and expertise across the firm. This group consists of high-level leading consultants located throughout the globe positioned to serve a diverse client base within a variety of industries and are focused on meeting our clients where they need us most across a variety of domains - helping them realize their desired outcomes through our cloud advisory, implementation and operations. This team partners with our National Sales team in pre-sales activities, our Consulting leaders, and our extensive delivery teams to lead and oversee large-scale projects.

We are seekinganindividual with both broad and deepcloudimplementation and migration experience with a focus onApplication transformation and migrationtolead the continued growth of our cloud practice servingRSMclients in a variety of industries and geographic locations. The successful candidatewill have solid working knowledge ofapplication patterns,cloud architecture models,leading vendor productsandsolutions,cloudtechnology trends, securitydesignand innovation as well asexperienceleveragingthis knowledge tobenefitglobalorganizationsThe candidate will alsopossessstrong leadership traits andexhibita proventrack recordof developing, launching and operatingapplicationconsultingpractices.This individual will ultimately bepartlyresponsible for thelong-termvision ofourapplication transformationpractice, including the focus on developing and expanding the portfolio of solutions that are available to clients.

Asaleader within theICpractice,thesuccessfulcandidateisresponsible fordeveloping strong working relationships with clients built on understanding their businesses, thechallengestheyfaceand the outcomes they are looking to achieve.The selected candidatewillidentify,pursueand close new opportunities with both existing and new clients and will provide subject matter knowledgeto supportthe efforts of the broader consulting practiceThisindividualwillalsowork across multiple client account teams within a wide variety of industries.The candidate isresponsibletoleadmultiple team engagements simultaneously, including severalthreadsofcomplex implementation and migration engagementsIn addition, this individual willbe responsible forleading a global team ofapplicationspecialists, developing go to market solutions, working with industry leading technology vendors,andchampioningthecloudpractice throughout the Firm.

Successful candidatestypically have10+years of experience in the followingareas

• Confidently speaking with knowledgeable clients on the topic ofapplicationstrategy, architecture, workload migrationplanningand common security practices such as landing zones

• Acting as trusted advisor to senior technology leaders onapplicationengineering activities

• Identifyingand building solutions to drive growth in project-based and managed services

• Developingapplicationstrategy for clients that include value frameworks,application estate planning,modernizationand migration patternswith a focus of using AI and automation to drive accelerated client value

• Developingapplication rationalization approaches to create migration roadmaps.

• Designing, architecting,implementingand supporting simple to complex enterprise solutions for a variety of business use cases and requirements. Guiding and mentoring clients through the entire process

• Providingprincipal engineering support to various teams throughouta client’sdigital transformation.

• Understanding commonapplicationdevelopment anddeployment models including platform types (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)

• Executing solution delivery engagements for both small and large environments

• Eminence buildingin the industrythrough frequent publishing and speaking on relevant topics

• Recruiting top talent through your network and eminence activities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or graduate degree OR10+years of related work experience

• Highproficiencywithapplication development technologies.

• Highproficiencywiththe tools and techniques forcloud nativeand modern application development.

• Experiencewith private, public and hybrid cloud deployments

• Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally

• Ability to interact effectively with internal and external resources at all organizational levels

• Excellent project management, organization, and follow-up skills

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Must be a team player; able to work in virtual teams and independently

• Willingness and ability to travelglobally

• Strong financial and business acumen, and ability to speak about technology in the language of business

• Curiosity about business and technology; motivated with a desire to learn

• Strong Knowledge of one of the following industries would beadvantageous

Preferred Technical Experience

Application Modernization and Migration

• Strong understanding ofcloud-native,modernand legacy application portfolios andexperiencewithmigration strategies.

• Understanding ofstandard application patterns andthe use ofcontainers (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices, serverless and API management.

• Experience with migration tooling andexecutionmethodologies (7Rs framework).

Automation and DevSecOps

• Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines, configuration management,observabilityandDevSecOpspractices.

Infrastructure and Architecture

• Strong foundation with on-premises infrastructure, virtualization(VMWare, Hyper-V), networking protocols, storage architectures and data center strategy and operations.

• Understanding ofhybrid and multi-cloud connectivity patterns. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, ARM templates or CloudFormation.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $134,000 - $269,000

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
