The Application Technical Lead guides a team of software developers and is responsible to work closely with other key team members (i.e. Tech Mgr, QA, Product) to define business requirements, estimate and assign tasks, and resolve defects. They will also work with the architects on technical design and architecture in their project team.

Mentor and coordinate team of developers
Enforce code and design standards within the development team; perform code reviews
Collaborate with Solution and Enterprise Architects on application design and implementation patterns
Recommend and iterate on solution designs and patterns to build performant, scalable and maintainable enterprise applications
Recommend tools and technologies to improve development quality and/or productivity
Create and manage application build and deploy pipelines, following guidance provided by DevOps team
Collaborate with Product Owners to clarify business logic and resolve requirement uncertainties
Proactively monitor our error logs and APM tool to find and correct production issues.
Ensure that effort estimates are appropriate, and are based on realistic assumptions
Keep team focused on project tasks to meet delivery commitments; Communicate issues that may affect release dates.
Evaluate alternate solutions to technical problems to determine the most appropriate outcome.
Leads the adoption of AI-enabled solutions within application architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and measurable business value
Ability to evaluate when AI adds value versus traditional deterministic solutions.
Proficient with the Microsoft .NET technology stack, including C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, and related frameworks
Strong experience writing and optimizing T-SQL for Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with Angular or similar modern front-end frameworks preferred
Solid understanding of software architecture principles and patterns, including SOA, Object-Oriented design, MVC, and CQRS
Experience working in Agile environments, with exposure to scenario-driven and test-driven development practices
Experience integrating AI-powered capabilities into enterprise applications, such as:
Consuming AI/ML APIs (e.g., document processing, classification, summarization, or natural language interfaces)
Designing systems that incorporate LLM-based services responsibly (prompt design, validation, monitoring, and cost controls)
Applying AI solutions to improve operational efficiency, decision support, or user experience
5+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a Technical Lead role, providing architectural guidance, mentoring engineers, and driving delivery standards
