Summary:
As an Application Tech Support Practitioner, a typical day involves serving as the continuous point of contact between clients and the system or application. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of quality by effectively communicating with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth operation of world-class systems. This position requires attentiveness to client concerns, accurately identifying issues, and designing appropriate resolutions by leveraging comprehensive knowledge of the product. The role demands dedication to sustaining system reliability and fostering strong client relationships through consistent support and problem-solving.
Lead the enterprise Business Ontology and Knowledge Graph capability. Own standards, governance controls, and adoption of the semantic layer that ensures consistent business meaning, interoperability, AI readiness, and Policy compliance across data products and domains.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Define and govern Business Ontology (business concepts, relationships, semantics) as a foundational governance artifact across domains
Design, implement, and govern Knowledge Graph data products aligned to approved ontology
Enforce machine readable standards (RDF, OWL, JSON LD) for automation, semantic search, and AI/LLM enablement
Run concept validation as a governance control and conduct quarterly ontology reviews
Establish and track ontology & knowledge graph KPIs (completeness, accuracy, usage)
Partner with Data Stewards, Data Product Owners, Architects, and Platform teams to operationalize standards
Ensure integration of ontology and knowledge graph with metadata, catalog, lineage, and data products
Core Deliverables
Enterprise approved Business Ontology with governed lifecycle (create / update / retire)
Production ready Knowledge Graphs aligned to business domains and governance mandates
KPI dashboard showing QoQ improvement in ontology and graph quality and adoption
Audit ready evidence for Policy 41 compliance related to ontology and knowledge graph controls
Professional & Technical Skills:
Senior experience in Business Ontology, Knowledge Graphs, and semantic layer governance
Strong hands on exposure to ontology modeling and knowledge graph standards
Experience defining governance operating models (R&R, RACI, KPIs, review cadence)
Ability to influence across business and technology stakeholders
Preferred
Experience embedding ontology and knowledge graphs into data products, analytics, and AI use cases
