As a Systems Engineer with the Nidec Aerospace team, you will have the opportunity to apply and develop your expertise to build the supply base for electric propulsion systems for the battery-powered aircrafts that will enable the world to sustainably and efficiently get from point A to point B.

Nidec Aerospace is a newly created Joint Venture between Nidec and Embraer intending to lead the Electrification of Aircrafts. From ideation to production, you will work with a diverse and experienced team of design engineers to support aerospace industry leaders and spearhead technological advances in transport decarbonization.

The Systems Engineer designs, develops, supports, and maintains the organization’s systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.

Responsibilities & Duties
• Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure.
• Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Analyzes, develops, modifies, tests and maintains the system.
• Makes updates to system related installation documentation.
• Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering
• Brilliant conflict resolution, analytical, and decision-making skills are vital to the position equally.
• The top core skills for systems engineering are information security, integration, and security. Skills that differentiate professionals comprise of mathematics, application development, and systems software.
