Job Description

Essential Job Functions

  • Manages application support resources to ensure effective support is offered to users/applications - Manages support SLAs for team
  • Ensures all support is compliant with team support processes, addressing and correcting gaps as they are identified
  • Makes observations and takes measurements directly, and collects and interprets data from other technical and operating staff
  • Performs quality assurance tests on all new application build upgrades before they are placed into production
  • Works strategically with cross functional members in implementing new projects with operations
  • Documents processes and support requirements, when applicable
  • Takes input from Management and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback
  • Develops internal and external meeting objectives and agendas, while understanding the necessity of project standards and applies them consistently
  • Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively, prepares reports, flow diagrams and charts, while ensuring the process works at the optimum level, to the right rate and quality of output, in order to meet supply needs
  • Reviews work requirements at all levels to perform gap, scope creep, fulfillment, and realization analysis
  • Provides guidance and expertise to identify and manage changes to requirements and manage the upstream and downstream effects of changes
  • Establishes and enforces effective analytical processes and practices to effectively manage a business analysis team
  • Performs personnel management tasks
  • Works with the development / Infrastructure teams to deliver the application as designed
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, some light lifting may be required in some instances.
  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related analytical field
  • Warehouse management systems, freight forwarding, or logistics background
  • Minimum 7 years Business Analysis experience Management experience
  • Programming languages: SQL

  • Knowledgeable of business analysis “Best Practices” and ability to implement

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

  • Professional certification may be required in some areas
