We are looking for a member of staff to work in our growing Systems Department, which is a core area of our school group. As part of this forward-thinking team, there are plenty of opportunities to learn and develop new skills in the development of our systems portfolio, including iSAMS, My School Portal, SchoolPost, SOCS, OpenApply, Microsoft Teams and Seesaw. We use these systems pro-actively to support the academic and business needs of the organisation, including self-hosting our iSAMS solution and engaging extensively with SQL scripting and SSRS reporting. The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for ensuring customer happiness of our users (pupils, parents and staff) and keeping on top of tasks within a busy and varied field of work.
Main Responsibilities
This is a key role in the St. George's Systems department, with a focus on:
Providing first-line resolution or diagnosis of incidents and support requests
Supporting users to make the most of the systems with which they work
Maintaining existing systems to ensure they function in a stable, secure, reliable and efficient manner, and that data integrity and quality is maintained
Manage projects relating to systems implementation and enhancement
Your profile
Skills & Experience:
A range of technical experience with excellent ICT skills, including Microsoft Office experience
The ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Experience of supporting school software solutions is desirable but not essential
Strong analytical ability
Fluent command of written and spoken English (German language skills are not required)
