Responsibilities:

The Challenge (Responsibilities)

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Siemens Opcenter MOM and Ignition SCADA applications.
• Monitor manufacturing application performance and proactively identify issues before they impact production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, interface, and data-related incidents within established SLA targets.
• Analyze recurring issues and participate in root cause analysis activities.
• Maintain incident, problem, and change records within the IT service management platform.
• Configure and maintain master data, workflows, production models, and application settings.
• Assist with application deployments, upgrades, patches, and testing activities.
• Develop and modify HMI screens, reports, dashboards, alarms, and historian configurations.
• Support shop-floor data collection, visualization, and reporting requirements for manufacturing operations.
• Ensure changes are properly documented, tested, validated, and approved.
• Identify opportunities to improve application stability, reliability, and operational efficiency, and participate in Kaizen initiatives.
• Recommend automation opportunities that reduce manual activities and improve support processes.
• Develop and maintain support documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge articles.

Your Profile (Requirements)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of application support experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience supporting MES/MOM, SCADA, or other manufacturing applications.
• Experience with production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Experience working within 24/7 manufacturing operations.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution / MOM and Ignition SCADA (Gateway Administration).
• Knowledge of Manufacturing process modeling, production execution, and workflow management.
• Experience with OEE monitoring, traceability, genealogy, and shop-floor data collection.
• Proficiency in SQL query development and stored procedures.
• Basic Python, Java, or comparable scripting knowledge.
• Experience with REST APIs and web services.
• High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
• Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."

• Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and plant operations.
• Experience with continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Experience supporting integrated manufacturing applications and interfaces.
• Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.

Languages

• Advanced Oral English: For seamless collaboration with global teams.
