As an Industry Subject Matter Advisor, you will engage with client project teams to offer your expertise in various functional, technical, and industry-specific areas. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to ensure that the solutions designed and delivered meet the clients' needs effectively, while also addressing any challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle. You will play a crucial role in guiding the team through the intricacies of the project, ensuring that all aspects are aligned with best practices and client expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Architect the Monitoring tools and integrate with Application and Infrastructure Observability monitoring.
Manage Dynatrace SaaS or Managed environments, including ActiveGate installation, configuration, and OneAgent deployment.
Configure application monitoring, including services, databases, and infrastructure components.
Design custom dashboards, setup alerting profiles, and tune anomaly detection to reduce false alerts.
Analyze application performance data to identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues, often collaborating with developers and DevOps teams.
Utilize scripts (Shell/Python/JAVA) to automate monitoring tasks and integrations.
Vendor Management and highlight the issues and work with them on fix.
Proficiency in APM concepts and monitoring distributed systems.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Linux.
- Familiarity with system administration and troubleshooting in Linux environments.
- Understanding of scripting languages to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
- Knowledge of network configurations and security protocols within Linux systems.
--Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
-Experience in creating custom dashboards and alerting rules.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7-10 years of experience in Dynatrace/Enterprise monitoring tools.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) are a plus.
- Good Understanding of ITIL Process
- Dynatrace Associate or Professional Certification is highly preferred.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
