As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to troubleshoot software problems, ensuring that systems operate smoothly and efficiently, and engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges. You will be responsible for maintaining high service levels and contributing to the overall success of the organization by delivering effective solutions to complex issues.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop and customize PTC Windchill modules based on business requirements.
Implement workflows, UI customizations, and Info*Engine tasks for system enhancements.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Troubleshoot and resolve application, performance, and integration issues effectively.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.
Knowledge of ESI, ODATA, REST, Interfaces, and Integrations is a plus.
Professional & Technical Skills:
-Strong knowledge of PTC Windchill customization and configuration.
-Proficient in Java, JSP, Windchill APIs (JCA, OOTB services) for custom development.
-Experience with Workflows, Lifecycle templates, and Access Control policies.
-Familiar with SQL/Oracle DB concepts, Info*Engine tasks, and basic integrations.
-Understanding of Agile methodology and version control tools (Git/SVN).
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 6 years of experience in PTC Windchill.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.15 years full time education
