We are seeking an Applications Development Specialist to join our IT team and support business growth through application development, system integrations, automation, and business process improvements. This role partners with stakeholders across the organization to design, implement, and maintain technology solutions that improve efficiency and drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, support, and enhance business applications and system integrations
• Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions
• Design, test, and implement process automation and digital transformation initiatives
• Develop solutions using SharePoint Online, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and Salesforce
• Support third-party business applications and integration services
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, serving as a Tier 1/2 escalation point
• Create and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and best practices
• Partner with vendors and cross-functional teams on application projects
• Support ITIL-based service management practices and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years of application development, systems, or IT infrastructure experience
• Experience with C#, Java, PowerShell, SQL Server, REST APIs, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 technologies
• Familiarity with Power Platform, Azure, and application integrations
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Angular, and Visual Studio
• Microsoft certifications or other relevant technical certifications
• Knowledge of Salesforce and enterprise application ecosystems
• Familiarity with ITIL or Service Management practices
Work Environment
Hybrid/office environment with occasional work in manufacturing facilities. Limited travel may be required, along with occasional evening or weekend support for critical IT initiatives.
