We are currently looking for an application specialist with a passion for IT, serving customers in Portugal, Spain and Saudi Arabia.

Working as an application specialist

Our application specialists are experts when it comes to using the Sectra applications. Their aim is to optimize our customers’ use of our different solutions to their best advantage. This include responsibilities such as:

  • Deliver web-based and on-site training to ensure they have the skills and tools necessary to optimize the use of our solutions
  • Analyze customer workflows and suggest improvements to their way-of-working as well as adapt our solutions to each customers needs
  • Work closely with our Professional Services, Technical Support and Sales Departments to provide application knowledge and support
  • Develop new processes to improve the efficiency of applications work and raise the quality of customer product understanding and satisfaction

We always look for your willingness and ability to learn and take on new tasks fast, utilize previous experiences and quickly grasp new information. We also want you to have a strong analytical mindset in which we consider it to be important that you can understand and break down and solve problems. We also look for good communicators who have the ability to interact with colleagues, partners and customers in an effective, clear and constructive way.

To perform well in this role, we want you to have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in medical imaging or equivalent, with a strong academic performance OR have a clinical background, for example, as a radiology nurse or radiographer.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English both verbally and written.
  • Be available to work at customer sites during periods of up to two months.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A strong interest in usability and medical IT.
  • Have excellent customer service skills as well as verbal, written, listening and presenting skills.

In addition, we consider it as an asset if you also:

  • Previous experience as an application engineer and/or PACS Administrator.
  • Previous experience as radiographer, mainly in CT or MR.
  • Experience in the use of PACS and its configuration.
  • Speak more languages than those required above, especially Spanish.
  • Have experience with other cultures and countries.
  • Have interests besides work such as music, sports, horseback riding etc.

Our offering:

We offer a base salary of 21.000 - 23.000 Euros, depending on the experience and fit to our skills requirements, plus other benefits, like meal allowance, parking/public transport allowance, insurance (on certain conditions), fitness activity allowance (on certain conditions), yearly bonus (on certain conditions).

The goal is for the right candidate to start on March 1st 2026.
