In this role, you will provide technical application support to customers across the EMEA region through both remote collaboration and on-site engagements, helping them optimize product performance and identify innovative solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Application, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Production, you will contribute to the development and delivery of customer-focused solutions that align with business objectives and market needs. Where You'll Make a Difference
Provide technical application support to customers across EMEA through both remote and on-site engagements.
Collaborate closely with colleagues across Application, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Production teams to deliver innovative customer solutions.
Design, execute, evaluate, and document application trials, development projects, and customer demonstrations.
Serve as a technical expert in hydrocolloids, emulsifiers, and functional ingredient systems used in Non Food applications.
Develop new application concepts aligned with market trends, strategic priorities, and product innovations.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and supporting documentation for customers and internal stakeholders.
Deliver technical training and knowledge-sharing sessions to customers and colleagues.
Support research, development, innovation, and patent-related activities.
Build strong long-term relationships with customers while contributing to best-practice development across IFF's global network.
What Makes You the Right Fit
M.Sc. degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Cosmetic Science, Food Science, or a related scientific discipline.
5–10 years of relevant industry experience within Non Food applications.
Experience within Personal Care and/or Candle application development is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of hydrocolloids, emulsifiers, and functional ingredient systems.
Solid understanding of formulation science, product functionality, and application development principles.
Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, pilot-scale trials, analytical techniques, and product development.
Ability to translate technical expertise into practical customer-focused solutions.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Professional proficiency in English and willingness to travel internationally approximately 30–50 days per year.
