We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Application Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for experience with clinical microbiology or medical device applications. You will play a key role in supporting the implementation, training, and troubleshooting of our diagnostic solutions in clinical settings across Korea.
1. Responsibilities
Product-Specific Expertise
Covering the full spectrum of clinical microbiology from PPM (media) to Kiestra (automation) and Synapsys (informatics).
This role delivers integrated consulting across culture media, workflow optimizationwith automation validation & verification support, and digital reading with data‑driven interpretation. As a unified microbiology automation specialist, the position enhances laboratory efficiency, accuracy, and consistency while providing customer‑tailored automation strategies and demonstrable clinical value.
2. Cross-Functional Scientific / Consulting Roles
Conduct workflow analysis of microbiology labs and propose tailored solutions
Collaborate with KOLs and key customers on evidence-generation initiatives
Support verification/validation
Provide academic and technical training for Sales and Service team
3. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Microbiology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Life Science, or related fields
Hands-on experience in clinical microbiology (culture, identification, AST)
Strong consulting and customer communication skills
Analytical mindset for data-driven problem solving
Ability to travel domestically and collaborate with global teams
