For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• +3 years of experience as an Application Support Engineer
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL is mandatory
• Ability to write scripts to automate procedure-oriented tasks is required, with the goal of improving efficiency in day-to-day application support operations.
• Familiarity with Ansible and DevOps practices is expected to support automation efforts and improve the consistency of operational procedures.
• Strong communication and documentation skills are necessary, as the role involves providing updates to business stakeholders, team members, and partnering teams on incidents, tasks, and projects.
• Knowledge of Unix is an advantage, as it complements the broader system administration needs of the Securities Services platform.
• Understanding of ITIL frameworks is a plus, as the role involves structured incident management, documentation, and follow-up across support workflows.
• Fluency in English (B2)
• Availability for Hybrid model, 2/3 times a week based in Lisbon or Porto
• Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
