Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Application Lead with 8-10 years of experience in managing Application Management Services (AMS)
and Change Request (CR) delivery for global clients. This role requires deep technical expertise in Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Magento Commerce, along with proven experience in incident management, application enhancements, and stakeholder coordination. The candidate must be comfortable working in the US Mountain Time zone to align with client teams across geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery and support of non-SAP applications in a global AMS environment, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Manage the end-to-end CR lifecycle including assessment, effort estimation, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
  • Coordinate closely with client stakeholders, business users, and internal technical teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Handle incident management, problem resolution, and service requests using ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy
  • Supervise and participate in application development and enhancements
    using technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Magento Commerce
  • Drive and track SLA compliance, KPI adherence, and ensure service quality through continuous monitoring and improvements.
  • Manage expectations
    by proactively communicating timelines, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with QA and testing teams to ensure test coverage using tools like Jira, TestRail, Selenium, or Postman
  • Manage and mentor a team of developers and support engineers across geographies; ensure effective task distribution and performance management.
  • Participate in release planning, deployment coordination, and change control activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8-10 years of experience in application support and development for enterprise applications
  • Hands-on expertise in Angular (latest versions), JavaScript, TypeScript, and Magento Commerce (B2B/B2C).
  • Experience managing AMS/production support, enhancements, and minor/major releases
  • Proficient in using ITSM and incident management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy
  • Solid experience with SLA/KPI tracking, client reporting, and expectation management.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and ITIL-based delivery models
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven experience in managing distributed/global teams.
  • Ability to work in Mountain Time shift (USA timezone coverage).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Angular, Magento, or Agile methodologies are a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.

Education:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
    

Shift: USA Coverage Mountain Time (MT)

Note: Additional compensation for night shift duties will be provided as per company policy. Transportation support may be arranged for late-night logouts, if applicable.
