The Integration Engineer will be required to possess & maintain an in-depth knowledge of integration products, best practices, and industry trends. This role’s primary duties include designing, developing, testing and implement application integration solutions and custom application code between business platforms, middleware, and third-party platforms to meet business needs. Works closely with other teams to assess and identify probable conflicts and troubleshoot application issues and incidents. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience with integrations across various platforms

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop interface methods to enable integration of disparate systems which may not have inherent integration capabilities

  • Collaborate with application, security, and infrastructure teams to define, design, and deliver technical roadmaps and architecture patterns

  • Assist in defining and review project specifications and requirements

  • Produce documentation and tutorials that enable other teams

  • Participate in Q&A for software deployment

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

  • Analyzes existing programs or logic for new systems and/or procedures, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong Experience working with XML, JSON, Microsoft SQL, C#

  • 4+ years of software development in a Microsoft environment.

  • 1+ year(s) of Azure experience.

  • Create/Consume REST APIs, EDI mechanisms, Event-driven messaging

  • Good communication skills and ability to grasp requirements and work independently

  • Analytical thinker with excellent problem solving, investigation, diagnostic and teamwork skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or directly related experience

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of BlueCherry, KWI, Salesforce Commerce Cloud a plus

  • Experience developing or managing an Enterprise Service Bus

  • Experience developing queries/views/stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server

  • 3+ years Website Development

  • 3+ years developing and consuming APIs
