As part of QnR Group's ongoing expansion — both in Greece and internationally — we are continuously hiring across a wide range of tech roles. Successful candidates may be hired by QnR Group, or another company within the Group, depending on the role and project.
We are looking for an Application and Integration Architect to join one of our public sector clients based in Warsaw. You will take ownership of enterprise integration design and delivery. You'll work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements into solid architectural decisions and leading development teams through delivery.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Setting standards across design, development, quality, and testing.
- Architecting enterprise-wide integration platforms, connectors, flows, and service bus solutions.
- Eliciting needs and translating business, user, and technical requirements into architecture.
- Analysing existing systems and identifying solution options.
- Maintaining architecture throughout the systems lifecycle.
- Contributing to system documentation, testing, quality assurance, and change management.
- Leading development teams and evaluating technologies.
- Optimising systems from a performance, security and quality perspective.
- Contributing to the Enterprise Architecture repository.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar architecture role and in total 8 years of IT relevant experience.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least one of the following certifications: IASA CITA-A (or equivalent), Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (or equivalent), Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (or equivalent), TIBCO Certified Associate (or equivalent), Certified SOA Architect (or equivalent).
- 2+ years as an application architect, ideally in a public sector or EU agency context.
- Deep expertise in integration platforms (Tibco, Mulesoft, or similar), SOA, APIs, and hybrid/cloud environments.
- Solid knowledge of UML, ArchiMate, and modelling tools such as Sparx EA or ARIS.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well-Architected, or similar).
- Understanding of DevSecOps, containerisation, and serverless platforms.
- English B2 level certification or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with ArchiMate modelling.
- Familiarity with the European Interoperability Framework or similar interinstitutional frameworks.
- Practical application of architecture styles and patterns.
