Job Description

The EHR Integration Analyst supports GeneDx interoperability solutions with a primary focus on Point-to-Point (P2P) integrations and external connectivity workflows. This role serves as a key resource for customer support, workflow analysis, vendor coordination, testing, documentation, and implementation readiness activities.

The analyst works closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Clinical teams, customers, and third-party vendors to support integration lifecycle activities, troubleshoot issues, drive workflow discussions, and ensure successful customer outcomes. This role contributes to the continuous improvement of support, testing, documentation, and implementation processes across the interoperability portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary support resource for Point-to-Point integrations and interoperability solutions.
  • Monitor, triage, investigate, and coordinate resolution of customer-reported issues and integration alerts.
  • Utilize Salesforce, ServiceNow, Jira, and other support tools to document, track, and manage support requests and enhancement opportunities.
  • Coordinate troubleshooting efforts across Product, Engineering, Operations, vendors, and customer technical teams.
  • Participate in shared support rotations across the EHR Integration & Optimization team.
  • Manage and coordinate integration lifecycle activities for Point-to-Point interoperability solutions, including discovery, workflow analysis, requirements gathering, testing, implementation readiness, go-live support, and ongoing operational support.
  • Support onboarding and implementation activities for new interoperability partners and solutions including Athena, eClinicalWorks, and future integration projects.
  • Facilitate workflow discovery, requirements gathering, integration planning, and stakeholder discussions to drive successful interoperability outcomes. Coordinate discussions related to workflow requirements, data collection needs, and Ask-at-Order-Entry (AOE) requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute documented testing scenarios, test scripts, and validation procedures for supported integrations.
  • Coordinate testing activities and support release validation, regression testing, and implementation readiness efforts.
  • Create and maintain integration documentation, workflow diagrams, testing artifacts, support runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and implementation records.
  • Document interface mappings, workflow decisions, message translations, dependencies, and operational considerations.
  • Work closely with Engineering, consultants, and interoperability platform resources supporting Redox, Corepoint, HL7 interfaces, APIs, and related technologies.
  • Develop an understanding of supported interoperability platforms, vendor capabilities, and integration workflows to support troubleshooting and future implementation efforts.
  • Demonstrate ownership by proactively coordinating stakeholders, driving discussions, documenting decisions, tracking action items, and ensuring issues progress to resolution.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of support, testing, documentation, and implementation processes across the interoperability portfolio

Education, Experience, and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience supporting healthcare technology, healthcare IT, interoperability solutions, laboratory systems, EHR platforms, or related healthcare applications.
  • Experience working directly with customers, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills.
  • Experience utilizing ticketing, project management, and support management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a focus on issue ownership and resolution.
