This position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit –

What you´ll do

  • Conduct hands-on laboratory testing and material application evaluation
  • Conduct all laboratory work in a safe manner including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adherence to site safety practices, use of laboratory equipment, 5S
  • Execute lab testing and generate test data, documentation and laboratory reports for projects assigned by Engineers and/or Supervisor
  • Communicate basic observations regarding data and/or experimental outcomes
  • Employ basic problem‑solving skillsets to overcome project bottlenecks and maintain project deliverable dates
  • Demonstrate expertise in programming robots and working with various curing and dispensing technologies
  • Train other technicians regarding equipment operation and/or test procedures
  • Maintain ownership and safe operation of assigned equipment
  • Report laboratory results and methods according to accepted company lab practices; results, reports and observations will be communicated to internal/external customers
  • This role requires working onsite in Madison Heights 5 days a week

What makes you a good fit

  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, biology or a science field.
  • 1 year of experience working in a chemical laboratory is preferred
  • Ability to gather, understand, and interpret chemical, physical and mechanical data
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work as a team member and independently on various assignments
  • Knowledgeable in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Uses good scientific judgment, statistical analysis, root cause identification and robust solution implementation

The salary range
for this role is $65,000.00 and $70,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum
and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the
time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible
for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The
Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual
compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills,
experience, education, training, and work location. This posting is intended to
