The role is challenging to describe as it is parts technical expert, product developer, technical sales, and more! The industry is niche as well: cooling tower/mass transfer/commercial HVAC components for equipment around the globe. The company manufactures the internals and not the actual towers or similar capital equipment. They have a diverse product mix and are well-known and have a strong brand in the industry.
They are looking for an Engineer who is ready to take that next step or a current Technical Leader who knows how to juggle the internal and external communications and development for this critical sector of the business. This is a 'working manager' type of role, leading a couple of Engineers and being the key person to bridge the gap between customers, inside sales, outside sales, and development.
