Your Contribution

• Be responsible and coordinate technical evaluation activities of thin glass in China. Initiate and manage internal technical project to solve problems based on the request of internal and external customers.
• Work closely with local/global teams and provide daily technical support to customers regarding technical issues and complaints related to thin glass.
• Under the guidance of management, plan, execute, analyze, and report lab measurements and testing in a structured manner.
• Prepare reports for all customer activities & lab evaluations, and presentations for projects, with high quality standard and time measures Identify the opportunities for innovation, and proactively initiate and file patents for key application fields.
• Establish deep understanding on the strength of thin glass products and develop processing solutions on the improvement of strength and reliability, and make continuous optimization towards the improvement of product performance and production efficiency.
• Develop technical competence and knowledge in the field of thin glass processing and analytics to enable fast reaction to the internal and external customer requirements.
• Follow strictly company policy including EHS, equipment maintenance, lab 5s and compliance and take personal responsibility and measures.

Your Profile

• PhD. or Master (with +5-years working experience) in Materials, Chemistry, Physics or Engineering, overseas experience preferred;
• Characterization and analysis skills for inorganic materials;
• Knowledge of technical glass and its applications;
• Preferably with experience in the area of electronic application;
• Problem solving capability in a dynamic environment;
• Effective interpersonal communication and presentation skills;
• Self-motivated with good organization skills;
• Fluent in English and Chinese, barrier free oral and written communication with English speakers.
