An exciting opportunity has arisen at a software and development consultancy who provide expertise to the world of network communications. Their mission is to disrupt the network communications industry with a specialist focus on synchronization, disaggregation and network latency.
They are looking to add to their engineering team and are searching for a highly talented Application Engineer to help c reate the next generation of 5G network infrastructure products and services. The role will provide hardware & software support, as well as system integration to companies developing networking products on Broadcom switching fabric ASICs and PHY transmitters.
The ideal candidate will need:
- Very good understanding of the networking & data levels protocols
- Hands-on experience in SyncE/PTP design and troubleshooting
- Experience in debugging networking ports/SERDES/PCIe/DDR4
- Experience in hardware design based on switching devices
5+ years experience in the networking industry
3+ years experience in system integration
Degree educated in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, etc.
