We are seeking an Application Engineer to support the solar inverter and PCS business as part of Nextpower’s growing power conversion portfolio. This role will provide technical support for customer applications, proposals, product selection, system integration, project requirements, and field deployment of inverter and power conversion systems.
The Application Engineer will work closely with Sales, Technical Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Service, Quality, Manufacturing, and customers to ensure power conversion products are properly applied in solar, energy storage, and grid-connected power conversion projects. This role requires strong technical understanding of inverters, PCS platforms, electrical systems, system-level design, and customer project requirements.
The ideal candidate is a technically strong and customer-oriented engineer who can connect product capabilities with real-world project requirements. This person should be comfortable reviewing specifications, supporting customer discussions, solving technical application problems, and working across multiple internal teams.
The successful candidate will bring a practical engineering mindset, strong ownership, and clear communication skills to help customers successfully apply power conversion products in solar and energy storage projects.
