Responsibilities

  • Communication and technology transfer:
    • shares broad knowledge of interdisciplinary aspects of bearing application technology in assigned industries, such as wind energy, mobile industries , including and not limited to main shafts and main gearboxes, light vehicle system, heavy truck, off-highway, aerospace and rail with colleagues, renders assistance as necessary to technicians and other engineering staff, updates supervision and generally assists in providing answers to inquiries from sources inside and outside the company.
    • effectively communicates with and support from external customers, internal sales, to global company resources in arriving at the best corporate solution to a particular problem or opportunity.
    • apply unique knowledge and expertise and a personal commitment to “champion” R&D activities.
    • adapts with emerging technology to enhance application engineering capabilities and services.
  • Performs independent evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of standard procedures.
  • Plan, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases in part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.
  • Creates appropriate test plans and associated documents, coordinate testing, prototype parts preparation as needed for testing review results and create final report for application testing.
  • Performs specific market and application study projects, consisting of understanding, tracking, and communication:
    • business statistics, such as market size and trend, penetration, competition, growth, key customers and suppliers, etc.
    • industry factors, such as main and trends machines, accessories, application environments and products portfolio mapping.
    • opportunities that fit with corporate goals.
    • factors for success in the market such as product features, product performance, price, services, lead-time, developing tactics, etc.

Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in product design or application for General Industry.
  • Good Mechanical calculation and drawing reading.
  • Good English skill both in oral and in written.
