An exciting opportunity has arisen at a software and development consultancy who provide expertise to the world of network communications. Their mission is to disrupt the network communications industry with a specialist focus on synchronization, disaggregation and network latency.
They are looking to add to their engineering team and are searching for a highly talented Application Engineer to help c reate the next generation of 5G network infrastructure products and services. The role will provide software and system integration support to companies developing embedded C/C++ real-time software for networking products utilising Broadcom switches,
The ideal candidate will need:
- Very good understanding of the L2/L3 switching and routing protocols.
- Knowledge in data path and packet forwarding architecture (Broadcom or other)
- Hands-on experience with the StrataDNX and/or StrataXGS series of Broadcom switches
- Experience in troubleshooting applications based on Broadcom or similar SDKs.
5+ years experience in the networking industry
Degree educated in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, etc.
