Your profile

  • Completed technical or vocational training in metalworking, machining or a comparable technical field.
  • A further qualification as a master craftsman, technician or engineer would be an advantage.
  • Practical experience in CNC machining, particularly milling and turning.
  • Experience with complex mill-turn or multi-task machines, including multiple channels, turrets, sub-spindles or B-axis configurations, would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Swiss-style machining is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience using a CAM programming system. Previous GibbsCAM or Virtual Gibbs experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
  • Good computer skills and confidence using the Windows operating system.
  • An independent, responsible and structured approach to work.
  • Strong customer orientation, communication skills and ability to work effectively within an international team.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel.
  • Fluent German and professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

What we offer

  • A varied technical role combining customer support, training and application engineering.
  • The opportunity to work with advanced CNC machining technologies and complex manufacturing applications.
  • A flexible working arrangement, with the possibility of working remotely or from our Ettlingen office.
  • Collaboration with customers and technical specialists in an international organization.
  • Professional development opportunities within GibbsCAM and the wider Sandvik Group.

Benefits: To be completed in line with the applicable German benefits package.
