Job Description

Position：Application Engineer- Oil&Gas

Responsibilities：

1. Pre-sales supports in analyzing customers' inquiries, understanding their needs and offering them technical solutions.
2. Communicate with customers and collect information to understand their processes and applications.
3. Use configure system to prepare the quotations for sales team based on the technical needs from customers.
4. Prepare technical documents for bidding and clarify technical deviations with customers.
5. Technical agreements examination to ensure final products full-fill customers' requirements.
6. Provide technical supports to production and purchase departments.
7. Support service dept. to analyze on-site problems and solve them on time to improve customers satisfaction.
8. Utilize technical knowledge to provide rapid, accurate and efficient answers to customers and sales engineers.
9. Provide technical suggestions to sales team to sell products or solutions which can meet the customers' needs.
10. Coordinate the internal departments to make sure all products can be manufactured according to customers' requirements.
11. Handle the special applications (such as oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, etc.), customized products & skid systems.
12. Technical communication with German HQ and engineering dept. for special products design and innovation.
13. Prepare presentations, case studies for special applications and industries to enlarge the potential markets / sales business. Also training to sales team and customers.
14. Project management include projects schedule, internal departments coordination, customers communication, etc.
15. Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Requirements：

1. Bachelor degree or above majored in pump & machinery or related
2. Good English communication skill.
3. At least 5 years working experience of pump product and technical support.
4. Good knowledge of pump type and characteristic, select suitable pump products according to work condition requirements & applications.
5. Be familiar with API standards, like API 676 and EN standard, or ISO and ASME standards.
6. Have participated in the execution of oil & gas and offshore EPC projects.
