Job Title: Application Engineer (CMM)
Contract: Regular
Location: Daegu
Key Responsibilities:
Provide CMM-based product demonstrations and technical support to solve customer challenges.
Analyze customer requirements to propose optimized metrology solutions.
Create and optimize CMM programs to ensure measurement efficiency and accuracy.
Execute technical support and projects for customers located in the Daegu area.
Build strong relationships and collaborate with Sales/Service teams to prioritize opportunities.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, or related field
Experience
7+ years of hands-on experience in CMM application, metrology, or dimensional inspection
Mandatory proficiency and hands-on experience in ZEISS CALYPSO software.
Proven experience leading customer-facing application activities independently
Strong ability to handle customer inquiries and provide technical communication.
Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
Experience in new solution demonstrations and technical pre-sales activities are highly preferred.
