Job Description

Key responsibilities:

• Being the Technical Contact for Test- and Design engineers at our customers
• Translate customer requirements into product requirements Consultation of customers about our products
• Consultation of our customers concerning the influence of changes on product cost and price
• Consultation of manufacturing concerning products
• Product definition for IAM
• Support to productivity initiatives as outsourcing, etc.
• Close cooperation with different departments (product and process eng. Test, sales, marketing, production etc) required
• Act as a project leader from the start through product launch for customers
• Comply with the safety and environment requirements and responsibilities.

Skills and capabilities (leadership and/or functional):

• Effective communication skills
• Excellent knowledge in English additional language skills preferred (German, French)
• Excellent knowledge of PC-standard software, preferable further knowledge in SAP, CAD, etc.

Qualifications/ certifications:

• Bachelor degree needed
• Experience in Automotive or supplier industry
• Excellent knowledge of Friction and Brake Technology (manufacturing process and application)
• Several years of experience with customers and suppliers; customer oriented personality
