Job Description

As a Battery Application Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development and commercialization of battery pack and module architectures. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure that proposals for selected RFQ/RFIs meet the needs of customers in a variety of applications, from electric vehicles to grid-scale energy storage.

Responsibilities:

Work with customers to understand their battery application requirements and provide technical support as needed.
Collaborate with the engineering team to develop battery designs and specifications that meet customer needs.
Calculate cell requirements based in module architecture.
Conduct simulations, performance testing and analysis of battery prototypes to validate designs and identify opportunities for improvement.
Assist in the development of product documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials
Stay up to date with the latest developments in battery technology and industry trends, and use this knowledge to inform product development and customer support efforts.
Represent the company at industry events, such as trade shows and conferences.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in battery applications or related field
Strong technical background in battery chemistry, design, and manufacturing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with both customers and internal teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
Willingness to travel to customer sites, manufacturing facilities, and industry events as needed.
